More about competitor analysis

Choosing competitors, understanding comparisons and following the evidence.

Yes. Add the competitors you want to compare with your brand. Your scans let you inspect their visibility, sentiment and share of voice across the questions, AI platforms and locations you select.

Yes. Onsomble identifies other brands appearing in your captured answers. Review their mentions, which AI platforms mention them and supporting evidence, then choose whether to add them to your tracked competitors.

Share of voice is a brand’s share of the brand mentions recorded in your scan. It helps you compare how often your brand and competitors are mentioned. It does not measure market share, sales or how often people ask AI a question.

You can compare results for the platforms and locations included in your scan, including supported countries and cities. Keep the question, platform and location consistent when you compare results across scans.

Yes. Compare the strengths, concerns and recurring themes AI associates with each brand. A mention alone does not mean a recommendation; read the original wording to see which business AI suggests. Use citation tracking to inspect the pages and statements linked to each source.

Changes apply to later scans. Earlier results retain the responses captured at the time. When comparing scans, check which brands, questions, platforms and locations were included so a change in tracking is not mistaken for a change in AI’s answers.
