Overview
This page explains the cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies used by the Onsomble website. We keep website tracking deliberately lightweight and only use storage where it supports security, core site functionality, analytics, or user interactions.
A full preference centre is not currently active on this page. If we introduce optional cookies that require consent, this page will be updated with the relevant controls.
Essential Storage
Essential cookies and storage help the website load correctly, preserve basic interaction state, prevent abuse, and support security-sensitive functionality. These technologies are necessary for the site to operate and cannot always be switched off through a website control.
Depending on the feature being used, essential storage may include temporary identifiers, request metadata, and values needed to maintain a reliable browser session.
Analytics
When analytics are enabled, Onsomble uses Umami to understand aggregate website usage, such as page views and interaction events. We use this information to improve the site, find broken journeys, and understand which content is useful.
Analytics events should not contain personal information. We do not sell website analytics data, and analytics are configured separately from the Onsomble application experience.
Blog Interactions
The blog may use local storage or session identifiers to support comments, reactions, ownership checks, and duplicate-prevention for lightweight engagement features.
These identifiers are used to keep the interaction experience consistent in your browser. They are not intended to identify you across unrelated services.
Manage Preferences
If a cookie banner or preference control is available on the website, use it to update optional cookie choices. Your selections may be stored in your browser so they can be remembered on future visits.
If no preference control is visible, only the current website storage described on this page is active.
Browser Controls
You can also manage cookies and site storage directly through your browser settings. Most browsers let you delete existing cookies, block cookies for a specific site, or clear local storage.
Blocking all storage may affect site functionality, including blog reactions, comments, and other browser-based preferences.
