MCP use case · First scan · ChatGPT

Run your first AI visibility scan
with ChatGPT.

Review your scan with your AI assistant, run it in Onsomble and explore the answers to see where your brand appears and which competitors are recommended.

Step-by-step guide

Run the scan and review its answers

Before you start: Connect Onsomble and choose a site with its scan configured and enough allowance for the run.

  1. Ask your assistant to review the saved questions, markets, AI platforms and any unpublished changes.
  2. Check the planned allowance and approve the run. Starting it also publishes pending configuration changes.
  3. Ask for updates on that same scan. If it is queued, running or incomplete, check its status before starting another.
  4. When the scan completes, review the saved answers, brand mentions, competitors and cited sources together.

What you’ll have: A first set of saved AI answers to use as your baseline for later comparisons.

ChatGPT
You: We’ve configured Davanti’s scan in Onsomble. Keep it on ChatGPT and Google AI Summaries. Are we ready to run it?
ChatGPT:

Yes. The setup has 40 prompts across New Zealand and Australia, with seven competitors and two AI models selected.

Those prompts make 58 prompt-and-region combinations. Across the two models, that’s 116 planned executions for this scan.

Say “run it” and I’ll start the scan.

You: Yes, run Davanti’s scan.
ChatGPT:

The scan has been launched and is queued. Once it completes, we can review the answers and compare competitors.

You: The scan is complete. What should we look at first?
ChatGPT:

A buyer question to investigate

Which consulting firms should I consider for a large digital transformation programme in Australia?

In the saved ChatGPT answer, Accenture, Deloitte and PwC appear among the suggested firms. Davanti is not mentioned.

That gives you a specific question to explore with your assistant: how are those firms described, which sources does the answer cite, and does Davanti appear for more specific services?

Try this prompt

Connect your Onsomble account and use a site with its scan already configured. Replace the brand and website below.

Help me run the first AI visibility scan for [brand / website] in Onsomble. Review the saved prompts, markets, AI models and competitors, including any unpublished configuration changes. Explain what will be scanned, which changes will be published and how much scan allowance it will use. If anything is missing, help me resolve it first. Wait for my confirmation before starting the scan. After I approve, launch the scan and show me its status. When I ask for an update, check that scan rather than starting another. If it is queued, still running or has failed, explain what is available and what remains incomplete. Once it completes, summarise where my brand appears, which competitors are recommended and the sources cited. Separate branded questions from unbranded discovery questions, show the saved answers behind your findings and suggest what to investigate next. Treat this first scan as a baseline, not a trend.

What you can do

Run the scan, then ask what the answers tell you.

Explore Onsomble MCP

Your first AI visibility scan shows how the selected AI platforms answer the questions you’ve chosen for your brand. Before running it, ask your assistant to review the prompts, markets, models and competitors in Onsomble, including any changes you haven’t published yet. It can explain the planned coverage and allowance so you know what you’re about to run.

Once you confirm, your assistant starts the scan in Onsomble. Starting it also publishes pending configuration changes. The scan runs in the background; ask your assistant to check its status when you return. If it’s still queued, running or has failed, check that status before drawing conclusions from the available results.

When the scan is complete, ask where your brand appears, which competitors are recommended and what sources the answers cite. Your assistant can pull the saved answers behind those findings, compare platforms and markets, and help you choose a question to investigate further. A first scan gives you a starting point for those decisions; later scans let you compare what changes.
